Sunrise Senior Living in Cresskill, NJ is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. The role emphasizes precise MAR/TAR documentation and vigilant monitoring of residents during and after medication passes.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and Medication Administration certification, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.

• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certificationStrong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Medication Aide / Med Tech – Deliver Safe, Accurate Medication Care for Our Residents

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee’s position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
