Job summary

GP Strategies Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Mechanical Training Instructor to deliver instructor-led training for industrial clients in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, FL. This onsite role focuses on hands-on skills in valves, piping, hydraulics, pneumatics, and shaft/coupling alignment.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance experience and enjoys mentoring, with excellent presentation and communication skills. Local travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial mechanical maintenance experience with expertise in valves, piping, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to adult learners in a practical way.
• Experience training in industrial and hands-on environments preferred.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led mechanical maintenance training programs using existing courseware.
• Facilitate classroom and hands-on learning experiences for industrial personnel.
• Teach technical courses in areas including valves, pipefitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and shaft/coupling alignment.
• Foster an engaging learning environment and promote participation and knowledge retention.
• Prepare training materials, equipment, and classroom resources for delivery.
• Travel to client sites to conduct training sessions.
