This part‑time internship targets a current engineering student who can contribute with limited supervision and who has CAD coursework or experience.

The role focuses on hands‑on design, prototyping mindset, and collaboration with engineers. You’ll apply CAD tools, assist with designs, and track small projects to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing Mechanical Engineering; year/degree flexible.
• CAD coursework or practical CAD experience.
• Ability to work 16–20 hours per week.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of mechanical parts, assemblies, and subsystems.
• Research components, materials, processes, and relevant physics principles.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve manufacturability.
• Support small portions of larger projects via task tracking and coordination.
• Apply CAD tools to create, review, or modify designs and docs.
• Identify questions, propose solutions, and move work forward with minimal direction.
• Perform other related engineering support duties as needed.
