Job summary

Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC) is seeking a part-time Mechanical Drafter / 3D Modeler to support production needs. Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for custom engineering projects.

You will read complex engineering drawings, maintain BOMs, and ensure production-ready documentation. This contract role scales with production needs; US Citizen or lawful US Resident required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and drawing creation (3 years of experience preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (3 years of experience preferred).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication between engineering and manufacturing team members.

Responsibilities

• Use computer software to create 3D models and construction/shop drawings based on engineering layouts and design concepts.
• Review work requests from Project Management and Engineering teams.
• Produce accurate, high-quality, production-ready drawings.
• Generate, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Read complex engineering drawings and provide accurate detailing.
