Job summary

Cub Savage is seeking a Part Time Meat Stocker to maintain meat and seafood cases, cut and wrap products, and prepare orders. You will assist customers, answer calls, and help with receiving shipments. Flexible, varied shifts including weekends are required.

Qualified applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate multiple meat department machines. High attention to safety and sanitation is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Memorization, reading, writing and math are required.
• The position involves ongoing customer interaction and prompt, courteous service.
• Experience operating meat department equipment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meat and seafood cases.
• Perform meat and seafood cutting, wrapping, and preparation.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, work area and sales floor.
• Assist customers with questions about product locations and suggestions.
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate.
• Assist in ordering and receiving meat and seafood shipments.
