Job summary

Cube Cambridge is seeking a part-time Meat Team member responsible for cutting, wrapping and stocking the meat and seafood department while ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining cases, assisting customers, and processing orders with accurate labeling and safety in mind. Flexible evenings may apply; 18+ required; prior experience with meat equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with meat handling and equipment is required.
• Able to stand for long periods and walk long distances.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills for orders and labels.
• Must perform prompt, courteous customer service.
• Good judgment when supervision may not be present.
• Able to follow verbal or written instructions and request supplies as needed.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meat and seafood cases.
• Cut, wrap, and prepare meat and seafood; stock displays.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, work area, and sales floor.
• Assist customers with product location questions and suggestions.
• Answer department calls or refer to appropriate person.
• Assist in ordering and receiving meat and seafood shipments.
