Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Warren, OH is seeking a Part Time Meat Cutter to assist in daily meat cutting operations and meet production schedules for fresh beef, pork, and ground products.

The role involves writing fresh meat orders, organizing deliveries, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Prior meat processing exposure and a current handjack/hilo license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using CAO applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
