Laurels of Kent is hiring a part-time MDS Nurse at our Lowell, MI location. The role focuses on accurate completion of the MDS/RAI, care planning, and supporting documentation in line with federal and state regulations.

Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential to ensure high-quality resident assessments. Responsibilities include coordinating with care teams, ensuring timely assessments, and maintaining documentation in accordance with PDPM, ICD-10, and quality measures.

Qualifications

• Prior MDS/RAI experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of RAI guidelines, PDPM, ICD-10 coding, and care planning.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in independent functioning and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate and timely completion of the MDS and related assessments.
• Support care planning and documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Ensure assessments reflect residents’ clinical status and support individualized care planning.
