Qualifications

• Successful completion of math classes with a minimum grade of "B" in college-level Math courses.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Tutors student(s) at Lanier Technical College in Mathematics.
• Meets with student(s) regularly in a learning center, community location, or classroom site.
• Assigns tasks and provides feedback; prepares teaching materials matched to student goals.
• Discusses student progress with appropriate staff; maintains a positive tutoring environment.
• Performs basic administrative duties to support tutoring operations.
