We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Part-Time Math Tutor to support students at all levels of Ivy Tech math. This position involves providing in-person tutoring in a welcoming, inclusive environment that fosters academic growth. The role includes 1-on-1 tutoring in math courses and facilitating group tutoring sessions, exam review, and TEAS bootcamp. An ideal candidate will have experience with math education at the high-school and early college level, strong customer service skills, experience working with disabled students, and a passion for helping students succeed.
TRIO Student Support Services at Ivy Tech Indianapolis is searching for a part-time tutor in Math. TRIO SSS is a federally funded program that serves students who are low income, first generation and/or have documented disabilities, to help them persist and succeed in completing their degree. This position is limited to 15 hours per week for 30 weeks during the 2026-2027 academic year. Availability may include in-person, virtual, and weekend hours based on program and student needs.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Qualifications Strong background in Math. Prior tutoring, teaching, and/or mentoring experience preferred.
