Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to help K–8 students build confidence in math after school. You’ll provide one-on-one instruction, explain concepts clearly, and encourage critical thinking while tracking progress with our curriculum.

Ideal candidates are in high school (16+) or college, with a strong math foundation and good communication. Training is provided, and shifts fit around school schedules, including weekday evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Currently in high school (16+) or college, or have a high school diploma.
• Training will be provided; prior tutoring experience is a plus but not required.
• Willing to work around your school schedule and commitments.

Responsibilities

• Tutor K–8 students through personalized one-on-one math instruction.
• Explain math concepts in clear, relatable terms for students.
• Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking during lessons.
• Build students' confidence and celebrate progress.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment for diverse learners.
• Track student progress using curriculum and resources provided by Think Zone.
• Build positive relationships with students and families to support ongoing learning.
