Job summary

Think Zone Learning Center in Redwood City is seeking a Math Tutor for high school and college students. You’ll provide one-on-one math instruction, explain concepts clearly, and help students build confidence while developing leadership, communication, and teaching skills.

This part-time role offers 6–12 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Typical shifts include Tue/Thu 3:30–7:30 PM, Wed/Fri 3:30–6:30 PM, and Sat 9:00 AM–1:00 PM or 1:00–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be in high school (16+) or college.
• Ability to explain math concepts clearly.
• Friendly, dependable, patient with kids.
• No prior teaching experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Tutor K-8 students with one-on-one math instruction.
• Explain concepts in ways students can easily understand.
• Encourage problem solving and critical thinking.
• Track student progress using curriculum and resources.
