Job summary

Mathnasium of Evanston Skokie is seeking a Part-Time Math Tutor to support students from 2nd through 12th grade, delivering math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.

You will work in-center, online, and/or hybrid with flexible after-school and weekend hours. No lesson planning; curriculum provided; paid training.

Ideal candidates are motivated, have strong math skills, and enjoy helping students understand and love math.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
