Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring, mentoring, and/or community service with high school students.
• Major in Mathematics or related field or equivalent knowledge.
• Criminal Background check is required as a condition of employment.
• Graduate of TRIO program or experience in overcoming challenges similar to target population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide math tutoring to Upward Bound high school students during the academic year, Saturdays 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and by appointment during the week.
• Occasionally implement grade-level specific college preparatory math activities and lessons.
