Job summary

Mathnasium Learning Centers in Towson, MD, is seeking a Part-time Math Instructor/Tutor to deliver engaging, student-centered math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will build confidence and mastery through carefully selected materials in a supportive team setting.

Hours are after school and on weekends with a minimum of 6–10 hours across at least two shifts; up to 20–25 hours may be available. Training and ongoing coaching are provided, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate math ability at least through Algebra 1 (Geometry/Algebra II etc. preferred).
• Engage students, create a fun learning environment, and communicate enthusiastically.

Responsibilities

• Teach using the Mathnasium Method with engaging materials.
• Maintain availability and communicate scheduling clearly.
• Attend staff meetings roughly every 4–6 weeks outside instructional hours.
• Provide support to center operations and keep space tidy.
