Huntington Learning Center of Yorktown is seeking Math Instructors to work one-on-one with middle and high school students in a supportive setting. You’ll cover a range of math topics including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, with flexible, part-time hours.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year degree and strong math skills, and can reliably commute to Yorktown Heights, NY.

Make a Difference as a Math Instructor at Huntington!

Are you passionate about math and enjoy helping students build confidence and succeed? Huntington Learning Center of Yorktown is looking for enthusiastic Math Instructors to work with middle and high school students in a supportive, one-to-one learning environment!

We work with students across all subject areas, with opportunities to teach some or all of the following math subjects:

Math: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus

Whether you're a current teacher, recent graduate, retired educator, or an experienced tutor, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Huntington Instructor, you'll:

• Work one-on-one with students and see the impact of your instruction firsthand.
• Help students strengthen their skills and gain confidence in math.
• Enjoy flexible, part-time hours that work around your schedule.
• Spend your time teaching - no lesson plans to create or homework to grade!
• Receive paid training and ongoing support.
• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $18-$22/hour, based on experience.

Center Hours During the School Year:

• Monday-Thursday: 2:00-8:30 PM.
• Friday: 2:00-8:00 PM.
• Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Minimum: 10 hours/week

Maximum: 30 hours/week

What We're Looking For:

• 4-year degree required in a related field.
• Strong math skills and the ability to work effectively with middle/high school students.
• Reliable transportation and ability to easily commute to our Yorktown Heights, NY location.
• All experience levels are welcome! We encourage recent graduates, current teachers, experienced tutors, and retired professionals to apply.
