Job summary

Huntington Learning Center of Nanuet in New York is seeking enthusiastic Math Instructors to help students build confidence across Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and other topics. No extensive teaching experience required; strong math foundation and passion to help students succeed are key.

We offer paid training, flexible year-round part-time hours in afternoons, evenings, weekends and summer, plus a supportive team and resources to focus on student learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong foundation in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus or related subjects.
• Caring, patient and professional attitude.
• Teaching certification or license preferred but not required.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
• All levels of teaching experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide math instruction to students on a 1:1 basis.
• Help students build confidence and reach academic goals.
• Utilize Huntington's provided programs with minimal lesson planning.
• Complete paid initial and ongoing training.
• Participate in flexible scheduling in afternoons, evenings, weekends, and summer.

Who We’re Looking For:

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels! You may be an experienced educator, a recent college graduate, a professional with a strong math background, or someone interested in exploring teaching.

Qualifications:
