Job summary

Iron Springs Elementary School in Cedar City, UT is seeking TWO Part Time Math and Reading Paraprofessionals to work 27.5 hours per week. These positions remain open until filled and report to the school principal.

The paraprofessional will assist classroom teachers with instructional support, help manage activities, and support students in math and reading, as well as related clerical tasks to aid teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer knowledge and be familiar with Google Docs.
• Willing to check email frequently.
• Regular, reliable attendance and job performance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support assistance to students and student groups.
• Assists with development, maintenance and carrying out of classroom management systems.
• Guides students in working and interacting harmoniously with other students.
• Operates various types of office equipment as needed (computers, copiers, etc.).
• Complies with established district policies and procedures.
• Must be willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.
