Job summary

Northampton Community College is seeking an adjunct Mathematics instructor to support our Developmental Math sequence (Pre-Algebra, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra) at the Bethlehem campus. This credit, part-time position focuses on delivering high-quality instruction to students who need to strengthen foundational math skills to succeed in college-level math courses.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a related field and is experienced with diverse student populations;

Qualifications

• Master's degree in discipline or related field from a regionally accredited Institution.
• Experience teaching in higher education with students from diverse backgrounds preferred.
• Experience with McGraw-Hill ALEKS software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach Developmental Mathematics: Pre-Algebra, Elementary Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra.
• Provide high-quality instruction to students needing foundational math skills to succeed in college-level math courses.
• Staff daytime and afternoon classes at the Bethlehem campus.
