Job summary

RRD is seeking a Part-Time Contingent employee for material handling in the Austell, GA facility. The role involves laying up, feeding, and organizing materials, with attention to proper packaging and labeling for accurate tracking.

Only basic forklift/hand truck tasks are required, with potential overtime and shift differentials. Compensation ranges from $14.42 to $18.10 per hour, with standard benefits described in the notice.

Qualifications

• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions.
• Able to complete forms related to stock description, quantity and labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lay up, feed, or pile down materials at equipment.
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid for good bindery/mailing run.
• Complete skid flags and packaging slips for tracking accuracy.
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Attach identifying tags or labels and record information on cases, bales, or containers.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles using banding machine and clincher.
• May operate automated equipment and occasionally use forklift or hoist to move materials.
