The candidate will work with the teacher of record to implement effective strategies, facilitate professional development, and analyze data to boost student outcomes under building leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid NC Teaching license in content area required.
• Master's degree in Education preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience as successful content area teacher required.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with administration and teacher of record to provide targeted instructional strategies including technology.
• Demonstrate instructional expertise and coaching skills.
• Support PLCs in developing classroom practices to meet goals.
• Develop and evaluate professional development activities aligned to school goals.
• Improve classroom teaching with clear expectations and actionable feedback.
• Oversee planning and follow-up of school-based professional development.
• Assist teachers with applying new professional learning.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to guide instruction.
• Identify trends, set goals, and monitor student achievement.
