Responsibilities

• Active Listening and Monitoring: Watch screens and computer systems to ensure programming and ads run on time, without interruption.
• Review and Look Ahead: Check upcoming schedules for missing files and timing errors in the logs and correct them before going on-air.
• Follow Standard Procedures: Follow daily schedules closely and execute backup plans quickly whenever technical issues pop up.
• Pass the Baton: Leave clear notes detailing any potential issues to ensure a clean handoff to the next operator.
