Midland College in Midland, TX seeks a Part Time Instructor HSCE Massage Therapy to coordinate and deliver instruction at the Advance Technology Center. The role includes developing content, arranging labs and clinical experiences, and maintaining supplies under TDLR guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a current Texas Massage Therapist license and MTI eligibility; experience with MBLEx prep and curriculum development is valued. This position supports flexible hours and community partnerships.

Qualifications

Must possess a current Texas license to practice as a Massage Therapist.
Must be a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor (MTI) or obtain license within 6 months.
Knowledge of Massage Therapy Basic Curriculum Outline, Standards of Practice, and TD LR guidelines.
Knowledge of MBLEx exam content.
Knowledge of basic computer applications and office equipment.
Strong organizational skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Instruct Massage Therapy students in theory and skill for MBLEx exam and licensing.
Establish and maintain a positive relationship with students, staff, and community partners.
Utilize teaching techniques to achieve course objectives.
Assist in development of course curriculum.
Oversee skills lab and inventory management.
Coordinate student clinical or practicum experiences at community facilities.
Prepare reports of student success and participate in recruitment activities.
