The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments. Candidates must have knowledge of various modalities, understand body treatments, and be willing to train in our specific offerings. Excellent communication skills, current state license, and required insurance are mandatory.

• Greet guests and complete procedures efficiently
• Provide professional massage and treatments according to protocols
• Educate guests on wellness concerns and handle inquiries professionally
• Care for equipment and manage product use for cost control
• Maintain knowledge of services and products
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards
• Promote home care, meeting retail sales goals of 3%
• Support spa promotions and programs
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms
• Communicate with management about staff or guest issues
• Attend training and staff meetings

Education/Formal Training: Current state license, minimum 500 hours training, high school diploma or equivalent, technical certificates

Experience: 1 year preferred

Knowledge/Skills: Tactful customer service, organization, attention to detail

Physical Demands: Ability to perform massage techniques, mobility, lifting, standing, climbing, and other physical activities as required

Environment: Prolonged standing at indoor, climate-controlled workstation
