Qualifications

  • Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in Chinese culture, arts, education, nonprofit communications, or cultural exchange is a plus.
  • Must be available at least three days per week.
  • Must have valid U.S. work authorization.

Job description

China Institute of America is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Part‑Time Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator to support our marketing and communications efforts. This role is ideal for someone with strong visual storytelling skills, social media experience, and a passion for arts, culture, education, and cross‑cultural exchange.

The Part‑Time Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator will assist in developing digital content across China Institute’s social media, website, email, and promotional channels. The ideal candidate is skilled in video editing, especially short‑form content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and WeChat/RED‑style social content. Experience in graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and bilingual English/Chinese communications is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and edit short‑form videos for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
  • Design graphics and marketing materials for digital and print platforms.
