Job summary

Portland State University’s Institute on Aging seeks a Marketing Assistant to support marketing and communication efforts for OCEBHA. The role maintains the OCEBHA website, posts to LinkedIn and Instagram, edits pages, builds email templates in MyEmma, and creates a monthly newsletter and marketing materials.

Responsibilities include weekly social posts, website monitoring, design updates, flyers and brochures, and content for the research reports.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience as an editor reviewing and correcting materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax.
• Ability to tailor digital and print design to a target audience.
• Experience with website editing and/or design.

Responsibilities

• Post to social media weekly and plan posts with team leadership.
• Monitor the OCEBHA website.
• Design and update marketing materials as requested.
• Create flyers, brochures, banner stands, social media posts, newsletters.
• Create and maintain design elements for research reports and other materials.
• Identify content for and draft the monthly OCEBHA newsletter.
