JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Transportation Services, a unit within Auxiliary and Business Services, is seeking to hire a Part-Time Marketing Communications Assistant to aid with promotion of various transportation-related programs and initiatives, including campus parking operations, event parking, campus transit, bike programs, fleet vehicle rentals and driver services, and campus and community ridesharing programs.
Reporting to the Special Projects Manager, the part-time Marketing Communications Assistant will work with the Marketing Communications Specialist to:
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AP style, and social media best practices, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required due to frequent interactions with faculty, staff, students, and community members. This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours and outdoor work.
Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, or be currently enrolled in a related program, and be available to work through at least fall 2025.
