Job summary

Hy-Vee in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Market Grille Cook for a part-time, hourly position. You’ll prepare hot and cold items, keep the food cases stocked, and ensure orders are made with care in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling orders, maintaining hygiene, and supporting other store departments as needed. Training provided; wage starts at $14.00–$17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service with a smile and greeting.
• Prepare cooking surfaces and all menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods, and heat-and-eat varieties.
• Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary.
• Stay knowledgeable of all menu items and take guest orders as needed.
• Prepare items for upcoming shifts to keep the department running smoothly.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the area clean and organized at all times.
• Order product and supplies as needed or notify managers of needs.
• Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
