Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a part-time UF/IFAS Florida 4-H Camp Cloverleaf Environmental Education Educator in Highlands. The role focuses on delivering hands-on marine and environmental education to K-12 students through day, residential, and outreach programs.

Essential tasks include teaching pre-designed curricula, supporting program growth, and assisting with animal care and facility maintenance. Housing may be available, with required background screening and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in sciences, education, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, organize, and evaluate environmental education programs for K-12 students.
• Provide support to maintain marine and environmental education classes, activities, and materials.
• Assist with animal care for education animals.
• Help maintain clean facilities for on-site programs.
• May assist with dining hall duties during on-site programs.
