Job summary

ST Engineering Aethon, Inc, a Pittsburgh robotics company, is seeking a part-time onsite Purchasing Coordinator in the Strip District. You will collaborate with all departments to ensure timely delivery of products and manage purchase orders, shipments, and discrepancies in our ERP/inventory system.

Responsibilities include entering daily receiving data, maintaining POs, serving as the central contact for purchasing and inventory, and assisting with vendor setup and monthly counts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing/buying.
• Manufacturing buyer experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• SAP knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Advise operating departments of potential problems meeting quality and delivery dates.
• Manage the complete purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving purchasing discrepancies.
• Enter and maintain daily receiving information, purchase orders, and related transactions in the ERP/inventory system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Serve as the central point of contact for purchasing and inventory inquiries, maintaining clear and professional communication with internal departments, customers, and suppliers.
• Analyze quotes, compare supplier options, and make purchasing decisions that optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Process Vendor RMA’s.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
• New Vendor Setup Documentation.
• Assist with monthly and annual physical inventory counts.
