Job summary

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our East Greenwich, RI team. Under supervision, you will perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, ensuring safety and quality while adhering to established procedures.

Two years of mammography experience and ARRT certification are required. TOMO experience is preferred; MQSA QA experience is valued. We offer a signing bonus and a flexible schedule for part-time coverage at the East Greenwich site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience as a mammographer.
• ARRT registration and graduation from a Radiologic Technology Program required.
• MRI TOMO experience is a plus.
• MQSA QA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about the exam and promote comfort.
• Perform diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered.
• Assist radiologist with complex mammography, including biopsies.
• Produce high-quality images for radiologist review.
• Perform quality control related to mammography.
• Demonstrate anatomy, physiology and medical terminology knowledge.
• Maintain accurate positioning and exposure techniques.
