Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 32-hour schedule in our Radiology Department in Needham, MA.

You will perform a wide range of mammography procedures, operate PACS, and collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and image quality. The ideal candidate has ARRT Mammography certification, relevant licensure, and 0–1 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• License RAML-Mammography required, or Registration Radiography Mam & CT required, and certificate 1 ARRT and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines in Mammography/Breast Imaging procedures.
• Schedules and documents exams with complete records.
• Performs quality control on equipment per standard procedures.
• Verifies patient identifiers (Full Name & DOB).
• Ensures compliance with radiation safety regulations.
• Maintains documentation to obtain and retain licenses.
• Collaborates with the Mammography Supervisor for quality images.
• Manages PACS exams and status as needed.
