Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Mammographer Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will independently perform mammographic examinations, using state-of-the-art equipment and PACS, in accordance with department protocols and ACR standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent training to obtain license.
  • At least 1 year as radiologic technologist with mammography experience.
  • ARRT certified and registered in radiography and mammography; MA license required.
  • BLS credentials.

  • Perform mammographic examinations independently per department protocols and ACR imaging standards.
  • Contribute to quality, safety, and positive patient experience through imaging services.

Schedule: per diem, rotating schedule

Responsibilities
  • Independently performing mammographic examinations in accordance to department protocols and ACR imaging standards and safety standards, using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, PACS, and other related medical imaging equipment
  • This professional technologist position will have an impact on quality, safety and the patient experience.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology and/or appropriate training to obtain license
  • At least 1 year as a radiologic technologist including training in mammography
  • License/Certification Requirement: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified and registered radiographer and mammographer; Massachusetts DPH Radiation Control Program Radiography and Mammography License BLS
Salary

Pay Range: $46.00 - $68.35

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
