Job summary

Solis Mammography in McAllen, TX is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist. You will perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, educate patients, and support the Radiology team, with emphasis on safety and quality care.

The role requires ARRT registry, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and MQSA/ FDA CEU adherence. 3D imaging experience and familiarity with eRad/Sectra RIS/PACS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year program from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One-year full-time Mammography Technologist experience with documentation and 3D required.
• Current state radiology registration as required by state law.
• ARRT registry certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Knowledge of database software; eRad and Sectra RIS/PACS preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.

• Assists Radiologist in intricate mammography exams, including breast biopsies.
