Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a part-time Mammographer in Monroe to perform mammographic imaging procedures essential for early detection of breast conditions. You will maintain MQSA compliance, utilize proper protection devices, and contribute to training radiology staff and students.

Applicants must have AMA/HLC-accredited radiologic technology training, ARRT mammography certification, and current CPR. The role emphasizes patient care and quality imaging within the Mammography department.

Qualifications

• Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
• Must be registered by the ARRT in mammography; if registry eligible, must pass within one year of accepting the position. If working in more than one modality and registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting additional responsibilities.
• Current CPR

Responsibilities

• Conduct mammographic imaging procedures for breast assessment.
• Maintain MQSA compliance and use proper radiation protection and immobilizers to produce high-quality images.
• Assist in training and evaluating new radiology staff and students.

Education

Radiologic technology training (AMA approved or HLC-accredited)
