Job summary

American Senior Communities’ Aster Place Assisted Living in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the community in good repair and safe for residents, staff and visitors. This role is part-time and involves hands-on maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep and collaboration with the team.

The ideal candidate will have stamina, a supportive demeanor, teamwork mindset and possibly prior maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds.
