Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate for Westview Village in Renton. You will schedule and perform routine maintenance, diagnose repairs, and help coordinate make-ready services to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for residents.

The role requires weekend availability and the ability to operate a vehicle with valid insurance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Prior maintenance experience in property management preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects.
  • Weekends/listed schedule days are required.
  • Can operate vehicle on premises and has valid drivers license and automobile insurance.
  • Supplies own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
  • Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
  • Inspects and coordinates all needed make-ready repairs and services.
  • Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
  • Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
  • Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.

Salary: $21-$22 per hour

Schedule: Part-time; Thursday - Saturday 8am to 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supplies their own tools

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day. Estimated 60% - 100% of time is spent on feet.
  • Occasional need to type, write, & grasp (working at a computer and answering phones)
  • Estimated 60% - 100% need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder
  • Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion with a frequent need to lift/push/pull 25 lbs - 75lbs and be on your feet a majority of the day
