Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician I to join The Willet, a 38-unit residential community located in Revere, MA. You will perform maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds and parking areas.

The pay range is $20.63-$24.75 per hour, with on-call duties as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance to company standards.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities.
• Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.

In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots.

The pay range for this role is $20.63-$24.75 per hour dependent on experience. The selected candidate will also on-call duty when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance to company standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training.
• CAMT certification.
