Job summary

• Welding techniques for various repair projects and residential painting skills.
• Familiarity with PLCs for troubleshooting automated systems.
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Supervising experience or leadership qualities to guide junior team members.
• Ability to read technical schematics and understand complex systems.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, floors, stairs and cabinets.
• Conduct painting, patching and general cosmetic repairs to walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
• Install or replace appliances, fixtures, and piping as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and order indoor and outdoor spaces, including trash, recycling, and landscaping.
• Respond promptly to client maintenance requests and document completed work.
• Identify and report major repair needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Occasionally perform renovation or improvement projects, such as installing new doors, windows or flooring.
