Job summary

Urban Self Storage, Inc. is seeking a dedicated part-time Maintenance Technician to maintain one Yakima location and ensure operations run at peak efficiency.

The role focuses on routine upkeep of storage units, buildings and equipment, while upholding safety and cleanliness standards across the site. The position works Tuesday through Saturday for around 20 hours per week, with responsibilities including responding to maintenance requests, keeping records, and coordinating with the Store

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance work.
• Regular use of power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing & carpentry work.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks at one self-storage facility in Yakima.
• Conduct repairs & upkeep of storage units, buildings & equipment.
• Ensure the property is clean, safe & well-maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests & emergencies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Report daily to Store Manager with progress & pending tasks.
