Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking a Maintenance I to join our team in Lees Summit, MO on a part-time basis (about 24 hours/week). Pay starts at $26.00 per hour with experience-based wages available.

The role involves working in multiple facilities to maintain living and working environments for clients and staff. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, general repairs, remodeling, grounds care, and safety training.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a maintenance person.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and carpentry, or certificates.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, lift, push, pull and carry items weighing 75 pounds.
• 18 years of age with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performing general repairs and routine maintenance on building systems.
• General remodeling, maintenance of roadways, parking lots and snow removal.
• Caring for grounds and landscapes; provide safety training as needed.
