Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking a Maintenance I to support our disability services facilities in Missouri. The role involves hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds care across group homes and administrative facilities.

Your work will help sustain safe, functional living environments for clients and staff. You will troubleshoot, remodel, and maintain mechanical systems while supporting safety programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and carpentry; certificates/training appreciated.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance person in residential/commercial settings preferred.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
• General remodeling and maintenance of facility roadways, parking lots, and snow removal.
• Routine maintenance on building systems.
• Caring for grounds and landscapes.
• Provide safety and maintenance training to staff as needed.
