Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking an L1 Engineer-General Maintenance to perform skilled maintenance and repair duties across the property, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks. The role includes preventive maintenance projects to keep systems running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or trade certification, a valid driver’s license, and experience with basic tools. Long hours, nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school certification preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Certification preferred as required by franchise.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• General knowledge of machines and maintenance using basic hand and power tools.

Scope of Position:

The L1(Entry Level)Engineer-General Maintenance is responsible for skilled maintenance and repair duties for the property, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical and plumbing tasks, and preventive maintenanceprojects.

Position Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
High School diploma or trade school certification is preferred, and/or equivalent work experience.
Certification preferred: Senior manager and/or other certification as required by franchise.
Have valid driver’s license from appropriate state and MVR in good standing.
General knowledge of machines and maintenance and repair using basic hand and power tools preferred.

Physical Demands:

Long hours sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
Heavy Work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 50 pounds of force frequently or
constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in confined areas as necessary.
Ability to move quickly to various areas of the entire property.
