Job summary

Paramark Corp in Barron, WI is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our property management team on a part-time basis. You will support daily maintenance tasks under the guidance of the Property Manager, with typical duties ranging from preventive maintenance to responding to service requests.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks, plus familiarity with basic computer tools and an electronic work order system.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work.
• Experience with hand tools including tape measures, squares, levels, hand saws, chisels, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient.
• Be accountable and responsible.
• Be able to function as a team player

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily.
• Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system.
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists.
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager.
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory.
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors.
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager daily.
• Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities
