St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, test, maintain, install, repair and modify hospital systems and equipment.
The role may coordinate with other craftsmen and requires strong communication with nursing and staff to ensure patient care and a safe environment. The candidate should have at least three years of trades experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry or electronics, with a valid state driver’s license and technical certification

This position may be scheduled across any shift based on operational needs. The Maintenance Technician inspects, tests, maintains, installs, repairs, and modifies systems, equipment and structure within the hospital.
Requires standing for up to eight (8) hours per day and walking for up to four (4) hours per day, sitting for extended periods of up to two hours, lifting loads of up to 60 lbs., pushing loads of up to 300 lbs., bending, crouching, reaching, twisting, climbing (stairs and ladder), and manual dexterity to make equipment repairs. Seeing as it relates to normal vision, and hearing as it relates to normal hearing.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate (G.E.D.).
Three years of experience in one or more trades found in the Engineering Department preferred. Technical school certification may be substituted for up to 18 months experience. They include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry or electronics. Valid state issued motor vehicle license.
