Job description

Fairfield Property Management is seeking a motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our residents and maintaining our properties to the highest standards. From addressing service requests promptly and courteously to ensuring every detail aligns with Fairfield Property Management's quality guidelines, you'll be at the forefront of creating an extraordinary living experience.

This position is part-time, with an expectation to work 14 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties for property upkeep
• Respond to resident work orders
• Perform carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work
• Repair appliances, heating and air conditioning units, ceiling fans, refrigerators, etc.
• Install sheetrock
• Paint vacant and occupied apartments
• Maintain property grounds, including pool maintenance, trash removal, pressure washing sidewalks and buildings
• Pick up parts and supplies as necessary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience on residential properties (preferred)
• HVAC Certification
• Ability to work on-call and respond promptly to calls
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
