Job summary

Absolute Storage Management, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Tech to handle routine maintenance and repairs across multiple GA storage locations (Monroe, Athens, Commerce). Approximately 28 hours per week, with tasks spanning carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.

You will troubleshoot issues, complete scheduled inspections, and maintain records of maintenance activities. A background in hands-on maintenance, strong safety focus, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across assigned properties to keep operations safe and efficient.
• Handle basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and building-related issues.
• Complete maintenance checklists and inspections on a regular schedule.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and procuring parts as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for larger projects.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety policies at all times.

Job Snapshot – Key Aspects of the Role

• Complete routine maintenance and repairs across assigned properties to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently
• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and building-related issues
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and inspections
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and scheduled proceduresObtain estimates for supplies and repair parts; order materials as instructed
• Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of buildings, units, and grounds
• Communicate regularly with property teams regarding maintenance needs, budgets, and completed work
• Assist with coordinating external vendors and contractors for larger repair or capital improvement projects
• Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times

Property Hours

Monday - Tuesday: 9:00AM-5:00PM

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday-Friday: 9:00AM-5:00PM

Saturday: 9:00AM-3:00PM

Sunday: Closed
