Come join our team as a part-time Maintenance Technician! We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin produced inside a garage, and we have grown into a multi-facility company where our products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. As a member of the Martin's Family, a maintenance technician repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Responsibilities include:

1. Observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
2. Dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts.
3. Inspecting parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
4. Adjusting functional parts and control instruments.
5. Repairing or replacing defective parts.
6. Installing special functional and structural parts.
7. Lubricating and cleaning parts.
8. Testing devices for performance.
9. Using metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
10. Initiating purchase orders for parts and machines.
11. Repairing electrical equipment and welding stainless and aluminum.
12. Checking and repairing pumps, fans, valves, and motors.
13. Adjusting and replacing electrical and pneumatic relays.
14. Performing preventative maintenance.
15. Operating tools like handsaws, drill presses, and electric drills.
16. Maintaining tools and machinery in good condition.
17. Working flexible hours to meet deadlines.
18. Communicating with supervisors about tasks and schedules.
19. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety and quality regulations.
20. Performing minor plumbing and troubleshooting malfunctions.
21. Maintaining knowledge of drawings, schematics, and inspection manuals.
22. Testing and evaluating equipment performance.
23. Reporting safety, food safety, and quality issues.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of related experience.

Physical Demands:
