Job summary

Petro 49, Inc. is seeking a Service Station Part-time Maintenance Tech in Kodiak, Alaska. You will perform general maintenance, grounds-keeping, painting and basic carpentry to keep the Petro Express building and equipment in good repair.

Responsibilities include painting, fabricating counters, landscaping, snow removal, and thorough cleaning of facilities. Must have basic construction knowledge and be able to operate hand tools and snow plow safely.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials and methods involved in the construction or repair of buildings.
• Ability to safely operate snow plow and landscaping tools for yard maintenance, as well as cleaning apparatus and chemicals for cleaning tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when maintenance is needed.

Responsibilities

• Paint windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
• Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings.
• Provide grounds keeping services, such as landscaping and snow removal.
• Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties.
• Perform cleaning of carwashes (pit).
