Job summary

Mercy Gardens in San Diego, CA is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a 23-unit affordable community. This part-time (32 hours/week) role includes coordinating with the Property Manager to prepare units for new residents and manage preventative maintenance schedules, while benefiting from full-time healthcare coverage.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3 years of skilled maintenance experience, and the ability to read blueprints and operate a vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trades.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for new residents and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
• Meet unit turnover timelines.
• Collaborate with Property Manager to ensure maintenance contracts meet quality and expense standards.
